Comfort

When I was trying to find a way to describe "comfort" I kept thinking about bed, food, and things like that... But when I had the chance to shoot this maternity session all it came to my mind was comfort.. 

Some of you  (specially if you are a mom) can say seriously? Pregnant=comfort?? 

But I can remember how much comfort my baby gave me when I was pregnant, I remember having a bad day and the fact that i could just sit and touch my belly and talk to my baby gave me comfort...

Dress

I am not good at writing in my blog! I know I need to do better, Blogging sometimes makes me feel like no one will see it and I Facebook my pictures ALL THE TIME and totally forget about my blog.
Anyways... This week is the last week for PROJECT 10 challenge and the topic is dress...
I absolutely love these pictures, this sweet girl, Izzy is getting baptized pretty soon and her mom contact me. We are in Arizona and people is not allowed to photograph in this LDS Gilbert Temple yet, but a nice worker there let us be the very first ones.. So exciting

My mini me...

This week I am going to be talking a lot about my baby girl, Mia, not a baby any more, she is going to be two in two days! What? Two years old? When did this happened? I still remember when she was a newborn, I remember I went to Amanda Porter's house ( a friend and also an amazing photographer) and I sat for hours while she was taking her newborn pictures!! And now she is two???
I want to talk about her today, as I was watching her really close I kept thinking in how much she remainds me of myself, she has so much personality in such a little body!
She seriously is such a fun girl, never stops talking, never! She LOVES absolutely loves to dance and sing, that's one of the things that love more about her, she is my singing parter! we sing along day and night, we are Taylor Swift fans! I know I know I am 30 years old andI love Taylor Swift so what? LOL, but back to Mia, such a little singer, everytime we go in the car we turn the music as loud as we can and we sing on the top of our lungs together.
She loves to laugh and laugh but she is also such a loving little one, you have to see that face when she sees her daddy get home from work! her eyes light up, she loves her little brother and she loves Harley our Goldendoodle..
I love to prepare for photo shoots, but nothing like some candid shoots, today I had my camera with me when we went to a concert and while we were there I followed my girl with my other eyes... maybe they are not the photo shoot pictures but they totally describe my Mia Mia Mia.... :)

After all being sick wasn't that bad!

Nothing like a weekend with the flu! My daughter, husband and I all got sick, but we’re finally feeling better!

I had to work during the weekend, even though I really really wanted to cancel but I understand how much preparation it is for families to do a photo shoot, picking out an outfit, making sure schedules work, and all that, so there is no way I can cancel a photo shoot!

I also got to assist Jessica Downey, an awesome photographer, no shooting involved but just to be there and learn was enough!

AND I got together with another photographer who is closing her studio so I bought tons of cute newborn props that I can't wait to use! :) SO after all being sick wasn't that bad!
